FAQ Frequently Asked Questions:
- I can't download it. (Viruses. A dangerous file, etc.)
The browser may block the download because it considers the file dangerous. In order to download the file, you need to disable the antivirus, disable real-time protection in Windows. To download, use the Mozilla FireFox or Opera browsers, which do not block the download of the Epson Adjustment Program.
- How do I open the downloaded file?
After the purchase, you will receive a link to download the archive to the specified email address. To unpack the archive, you need to install an archiver on your computer. We recommend using the 7ZIP archiver (freely available)
- Antivirus deletes the program
To use the service program, you need to disable the antivirus and add the program to the exclusion list ("whitelist"). The program has been tested many times and does not harm the computer.
- The program freezes when you press Check
What needs to be done one at a time (after each action, restart the printer and the program): It is necessary to clear the print queue, stop the Epson processes (Epson Status Monitor and others) through the task manager, remove and reinstall the drivers from the official Epson website for your model. If that doesn't help, try resetting on another Windows computer.
- The error Communication error 20000010 appears
The program does not see your printer. You need to connect the printer via a USB cable or replace the usb cable with a better one. If you have more than 50 ports/printers, connect the printer to another computer. When selecting the USB port, your printer model must be indicated in parentheses. Watch the video to see how the error was resolved.
- Does the program work on macOS or over WI-FI?
No, unfortunately, it doesn't work. Windows only, via USB cable only
